At the 2026 meeting of the Society for Research on Biological Rhythms (SRBR), Dr. Tackenberg received a Junior Faculty Award, along with Dr. Filipa Rijo-Ferreira (UC Berkeley). Trainee Day session focuses on getting trainees started in chronobiology research
At the meeting, Dr. Tackenberg hosted a Trainee Day session on getting started in circadian biology research, featuring Drs. Bill Schwartz (UT Austin Dell Medical School) and Roelof Hut (University of Groningen) discussing their new, freely-available introductory textbook, On the Essential Principles and Practice of Circadian Biology: A Road Map.
